A few years ago, when I noticed that the prolonged stress had GOT my hair. I became desperate to gain the luster and strength that I lost. I don't know if I'll ever return to my former glory. Maybe it was a thing of my 20's and now its just a downhill slide from here. Okay, I'm being a bit of a downer but sometimes I sear I look at my hair and just sigh...but I don't give up. I'm trying and encourage you to try to do the right thing and take your vitamins!
The vitamins which may be common to the haircare vernacular are: Biotin Fish oil Vitamin B (plug your favorite number here) Vitamin D Zinc etc. etc.
And of course there is the listing of flash cosmetic vitamins, which are a mishmash of all of the above plus some like horsetail and marine complex.
My favorite hair vitamins which I have had great success with, has been without a doubt Viviscal. I did my research and I read all sorts of reviews and decided I would take a chance on the vitamin back in 2011. After great results I have been recommending and using the product myself intermittently over the years. Another great thing about Viviscal is that they have a full range of hair care products and a range that is formulated just for men as well!
Warning! If you are allergic to shell fish this is NOT the vitamin for you! Instead try prenatal vitamins! Which are great and have just the right mix of vitamins including the all important folic acid and at a fraction of the price of Viviscal (which is pricy!)
First step of the regimen was to drink 2 liters of water everyday. The next is to take your haircare vitamins twice a day! One in the morning and one at night. After about three months on Viviscal you should see real results! Look for thickening of the hair rather then length at first! There is no magic pill for hair care growth. There is just time and persistent everyday care.
