One of the simplest things to do for hair health that I absolutely suck at (especially in the ole winter time) is drinking enough water.
Take today for instance. I poured my self a steaming hot travel mug of tea, shivered into the office, (my central heat isn't working - rolling eyes). Put on my cozy office sweater and thought about how I needed to get another something warm to drink, mainly to warm my hands, Bob Cratchit style as I hunched over my computer. The last thing I wanted was to drink room temperature (read subzero) water, or experience the inevitable run to the bathroom... meaning that I would loose all that precious internal warmth! GAGH! The conundrum.
Thing is, the foundation of healthy hair is water, water and more water! Sooooo in order to get that foundation laid, proper and correct, get out your calendar and put a notation of 2 liters on there every day for the next month. Each day you meet your water goal mark it off. To take the guess work out:
2 liters = 8. 5 cups of water 2. liters = 2000 ml No excuses! Get your bottles, glasses, jugs, and receptacles filled. Mark your calendars and set your sights on a strong hair foundation.
A regimen is something we'll do on a daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis. Calendars at the ready, the goal is regular, personalized SELFcare!
